London based metal outfit Evyltyde have announced the studio dates for their highly anticipated second album – ‘Rising’.

Evyltyde will return to Boneyard Studio [boneyardstudio.co.uk] in Wales to begin work on the new album on 21st January 2017 – the same studio in which they recorded their debut album back in late 2014.

Album Launch Poster A3“It’s great to be able to get back down to Boneyard for this album,” comments Danny Merton (guitars), “we had a really good working environment there last time, so I think being able to go back to that is a real plus.”

“We know the guys there,” adds Hannah Delany (vocals), “so we’re all on the same page when it comes to working together. In a way it will be like ‘old times’, but it will also be something new – especially with the new members in the band”.

The album will feature an all-new rhythm section with Noah Scott (bass) and Phil Tetlow (drums) – one that many will already be familiar with from Evyltyde’s recent single ‘Bullet In The Head’ and their tours with ex-Accept/Bangalore Choir/Bonfire vocalist David Reece [RPG – Reece Percudani Group] and Lithuanian melodic metallers Berserker.

“I’m really looking forward to putting my stamp on the next album,” enthuses Noah, “I think we’ve got a really strong band at the moment, sounding the best it ever has. On stage we have an awesome vibe, I can’t wait to bring that to the studio.”

“After being in the studio for ‘Bullet’,” adds Phil, “I’m really looking forward to getting a chance to record a whole album with these guys. I mean, it’s taking it to a whole other level.”

‘Rising’ will include ten newly recording tracks (with some additional bonus tracks added specifically for the CD release), one of which will be ‘Monster’ – a song that Evyltyde have recently released as a demo on a number of their social media sites.

“We wanted to give people a bit of a taste of to what to expect,” explains Danny, “We’re also aiming to have another song from the album in our set list for November… but the rest you’ll have to wait for!”

Along with Fan Club members receiving a copy of the album as part of their subscriptions, Evyltyde will also be running a crowdfunding campaign for the new album which will allow pledgers to get hold of some unique rewards, including joining the band in the studio.

“Yeah, we will have a whole pile of stuff available for our crowd funders,” elaborates Hannah, “not just copies of the album but drum sticks, photo books, lyric sheets, I think there’s even one where you can come along and do some backing vocals!”

With the debut album lauded by many, ‘Rising’ is sure to be well-received and will most certainly cement Evyltyde’s place as one of the best independent female-fronted melodic power metal acts in the UK.
