Before going back to the Soundlodge Studio in November to record the new album of the German Melodic Thrash/Deathers under the wing of Jörg Uken, which will be released at the beginning of 2022, Final Cry are releasing another one together with Plattenkiste Hamburg! The band’s classic “Words Unspoken” from 1994 was not only re-recorded by the band last November but this 7″ also exclusively features ex-vocalist Eric Stoddard and Herbie Langhans (Avantasia, a.o.), who contributed some backing vocals. The second A-side, on the other hand, contains a sensitive interpretation of the Final Cry classic by Hamburg-based singer/songwriter John Allen!
The strictly limited piece of vinyl, available in three versions, can be pre-ordered now in the Plattenkiste shop! Also included are personal liner notes that shed light on the special nature of this track and the band’s connection to the Plattenkiste operator.
