Hard rock / metal power trio TUBEFREEKS are back with “Release the Crow“, the first single and video from their upcoming new album “Unhinged“.
Release the Crow was mastered by Gene “Machine” Freeman (Lamb of God, Clutch, Head PE).
The new album takes a heavier tone but still delivers the signature Tubefreeks heavy groove punch. The sounds feature the unique vocals of singer / bassist Paul van Valkenburgh combined with the shredding guitar work of Rob Portillo and the bad ass drumming of Chris Badolato.
Look for additional singles over the summer with the full album dropping in Fall 2022, as well as kick ass shows to be announced soon throughout the mid-atlantic region.
Tubefreeks has a record of delivering solid heavy rock production and live shows for two decades. The new album will come on the heels of 2017’s The Dry Tide and national touring dates that including recent shows with Godsmack, Stone Temple Pilots, Fuel, Saliva, Puddle of Mudd, Lamb of God and more.
In a recent interview about the new album, band founder van Valkenburgh stated, “We’re so stoked about our new album. We think it is going to be a great collection of material. We’re really proud that the effort is a full collaboration between Chris, Rob and myself and that we continue to evolve as a band. We think the existing fans will love the new songs, but should appeal to lots of new fans as well. The sounds are definitely moving in a heavier direction … probably more of a blend of hard rock and metal.”
