Kasim Sulton is best known for his work with Utopia, Sulton sang lead on 1980s “Set Me Free”, Utopia’s only top 40 hit in the United States. He has toured with Blue Öyster Cult, Meat Loaf, Hall & Oates, Cheap Trick, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, Patty Smyth, and Richie Sambora, among many other artists. Sulton was the bassist and sang background vocals on the breakout Meat Loaf album “Bat Out of Hell”, and has played and sung on albums that have sold more than 85 million copies worldwide.
His latest album Kasim 2021 is set for release on September 17th through Deko Entertainment (ADA/Warner Music Group) and to celebrate Kasim will be doing a special live stream event, “Kasim Sulton 2021 – Welcome To My World”. Hosted by Classic Rock Q104.3’s Maria Milito, Kasim will be premiering tracks from the new album, playing live in the studio, and participating in a Q&A session. Kasim had to say this about the event, “Very excited for my Live Stream event this Thursday at 7pm EST hosted by Volume.com. I’ll be chatting with my good friend Maria Milito about my new album on Deko Entertainment, KASIM 2021. Along with debuting the latest single from the record ‘Fastcar’ I’ll be talking about the writing and recording process and with my band-on-hand. I’ll play a few songs live!
