Gold coast alt-rockers Mass Sky Raid are gearing up to release their sophomore album ‘Calm In Chaos’ this Friday. To tide their fans over, the group just unveiled their vibrant music video for their latest single ‘Miracle’.
Brimming with passion, ‘Miracle’ treats listeners to rich melodies, evocative hooks and vocals fueled with conviction. Lit with vivid flashes of purple and gold, the visuals are a perfect juxtaposition to the contemplative theme of the song.
Vocalist Adam Lomas speaks: “Miracle is another taste of what is to come on our soon to be released album ‘Calm in Chaos’. It shows another element of our sound and is probably one of the more anthemic rock driven tracks on the album. Playing on the theme of being calm in the chaos, ‘Miracle’ contemplates our perseverance as humans through the challenges of time while also endeavoring to deal with our inevitable mortality which in turn makes every moment we experience more precious.”
Mass Sky Raid have established themselves as one of Australia’s premier Alt Rock acts which has seen them perform alongside Dead Letter Circus, Twelve Foot Ninja, I Am Giant (UK), Voyager and The Butterfly Effect. With an EP and an album under their collective belt, their music has been gaining global coverage and airplay including features on PROG, Blunt Mag, Triple J, Triple M, Australian Football League, Scenestr, The Faction, Rebel FM and more.
Their singles such as ‘Arrows’ and ‘Closer’ amassed over 260,000+ Spotify streams and landed on a plethora of editorial playlists such as “All New Rock”. Their current and previous body of work has been nominated for multiple awards at Queensland Music Awards and also secured funding from “Gold Coast Regional Art Development Fund ” Program. The release of their sophomore album ‘Calm in Chaos’ and the upcoming national tour is largely due to support from their fans and community which is exactly why Mass Sky Raid have a bright future as one of the country’s leading heavy music bands.
