Milicia is a band of Heavy Metal from León, Guanajuato, Mexico, which emerges in 2005 and consolidated in 2008 with their first official training. Starting their career as a cover band, they decided after a while to start composing their own material.

One of the main objectives of the band is not to be encased in a specific genus of the Metal, so they have defined their sound as “eclectic”, is a mix of rhythms and sounds based in the  musical influences of each of their members.

Dedicating time to have their own material, they were forming and detailing the songs that make up the first MILICIA album, which is entitled “DEVASTATION”.

The album have  10 songs, which have as a common theme the devastation of the human being seen from various perspectives; situations that degrade the spirit, turning it into chaos, madness, despair, sadness, conflict and death.

Recorded at URVN Studios,  by the great Rubén Sanchez. They were attended by José Antonio Castro “Castrol” in the photographic session of the album and the art and design of the Joel “Frodo” Rivera CD.
