REGIONAL ONE RELEASES IMMERSIVE MUSIC VIDEO FOR NEW HAUNTING SINGLE “BEDLAM”!

Following on from the successful release of the explosive “Smoke It Away”Regional One is going all out for the group’s next new single, which is also a part of the band’s upcoming EP “Sold!” (available everywhere in November) – “Bedlam”! The band released a striking animated music video. The video follows a character in a very Tim Burton-esque world as he makes his way through an asylum.

Showcasing notable advancement in terms of songwriting, “Bedlam” features awesome energy, heaviness and character through its atmospheric guitar aspects, contagious rhythm and memorable vocal lines, introducing fans to a new side of Regional One. Being conceptualized and realized over the course of the lockdowns by a very small and minimal team, showing what can really be done with lockdown time if you put your mind to it, the imagery from the music video matches Regional One’s equally captivating show. Loosely inspired by the UK’s most infamous Asylum and directed by Doriana Re, this original 3D animated visual explores the mind and crimes of our character, trapped within his very own dystopian representation of the Asylum.

Further explaining the influence and the nature of “Bedlam”Regional One shares: “This song, for us, is certainly the more experimental side of what we do. We really wanted to explore a few darker concepts and I think that is what we did with “Bedlam” best. The lyrics are based on our character, who has committed a psychologically devastating crime in his past, which is hinted at in the music video. Through a sort of Tim Burton-esque lense, we wanted to explore how this twisted mind may see his demons and interact with them, blurring his reality with ours.”
