SAUL SHARE VIDEO FOR NEW SONG “JACK & JILL” — WATCH

MIDWEST HEADLINE TOUR SET FOR NOVEMBER + DECEMBER

Iowa hard rock heavyweights SAUL have returned with the video for the brand new single “JACK & JILL.” Equal parts catchy and clever, the song hits home with its powerfully pertinent subject matter.

Watch it here.

“‘JACK & JILL’ is the story of love lost — break-ups and divorce are an all-too-common part of life,” the band shares. “A simple argument can quickly turn into legal battles and custody wars, and everything they’ve built falls apart.”

The band is embarking on a headline tour this fall through mid-December. VRSTY will serve as direct support. All dates are below.

ABOUT SAUL:

Underdogs change the game. They turn the tables, defy expectations, and emerge victorious. SAUL’s story is a classic underdog tale. The band quietly clawed its way out of the midwest and into the national limelight with 6 million-plus streams and the endorsement of tastemakers such as Revolver, Guitar World, Loudwire, and many more. The Iowa quartet — brothers Blake Bedsaul [lead vocals] and Zach Bedsaul [lead guitar, backup vocals], William McIlravy [bass, backup vocals], and Myles Clayborne [drums] — embodied this timeless tale on their 2020 full-length debut, Rise As Equals [Spinefarm]. To date, the record has racked up over 40 million streams.

As early believers already know, SAUL have been grinding steadily since 2017, sharing stages with the likes of Bush, Fuel, 10 Years, HELLYEAH, and Nonpoint over time. Musically, they perfected the elusive balance between jackhammering polyrhythmic guitars and sweeping melodies. In 2019, the four-piece independently catapulted the single “Brother” (dedicated to their late brother Caleb) to #1 on Sirius/XM Octane, as it took over airwaves across the country. Within a year, it eclipsed 3.7 million Spotify streams and 1.3 million YouTube views.

SAUL next partnered with Spinefarm for Rise As Equals and eventually unleashed “King of Misery,” which went on to become a Top 20 single at rock radio. The musicians co-wrote the track with Disturbed frontman and rock legend David Draiman over Zoom during quarantine. The band also teamed up with powerhouse songwriter Erik Ron [Godsmack, Panic! At The Disco] on “Here And Now.” Elsewhere, Sevendust drummer Morgan Rose hopped behind the throne for the syncopated shockwaves of “Inside.” The album’s title track also transmitted a message directly to the group’s legion of fans, affectionately referred to as “Equals.”

That’s the SAUL story up until now. New music and more touring are on the horizon for Saul — 2023 looks to be their year!
