STAKE have released a brand new track titled ‘The Weight Of Our Age‘, ahead of throwing themselves back into live shows with a busy local festival and touring schedule across Belgium & Netherlands.

Discussing the new single and accompanying video, vocalist/guitarist Brent Vanneste commented, “The weight of our age has increased. It doesn’t matter how old you are, these times feel more nostalgic and melancholic than ever before. This song contains the euphoric feeling you get from the idea that something difficult will soon end. We collected some VHS footage from the past and present and edited it under this new track, which just felt incredibly fitting. Do you want to feel a little enlightened and/or do you want to see Jesse and Cis as extremely cute toddlers? Then please enjoy our new single: The Weight Of Our Age.”
As the live sector starts to open up once more, the band have announced a number of festival appearances and headline shows, largely in their native Belgium but also in neighbouring Netherlands and France. Having previously been announced to return to the UK in 2020 for 2000Trees and ArcTanGent festivals, the band hope to be back here performing live next year, around an upcoming brand new album.
