C Hard Rockers SuckerTrap tap into Black Sabbath/Ozzy and Dio for “CELESTIAL PSYCHOS” Single & Video release with SODEH Records.
“Celestial Psychos came to be through a juicy and fat “Sabbathy” riff that eventually evolved into a song about the psychotic and violent nature of the “Gods” specifically in Greek mythology but not limited to.
It was only after the recording was completed that we realized this song has no Chorus!! From a writing perspective that really set this one apart from the rest and outside the box. Or should we say Pandora’s box!
Betty’s vocals ended up sounding somewhere between Ozzy and Dio while maintaining its own identity.
We feel this song goes far in paying homage and contributing to the kind of classic, dark British metal sound we love.” Explains guitarist Pinto
A dark celebration of heavy Rock and Roll music. It will sink its teeth into you and won’t let go! The latest project by Pinto Stiletto, formerly of Crystal Pistol, Bonitos, Wett Stilettos and Randy Rampage band featuring Mr. Smyth on vocals. A mix of various influences from Iggy to Bauhaus, Sex Pistols to Sisters of Mercy Black Sabbath to Killing Joke and Judas Priest. A dark celebration of heavy Rock and Roll music.
Suckertrap was initially a studio project. After gaining interests from a few labels in Canada and U.S, who were hoping to see an actual live band, we decided to put a band together. We were still in the process of rehearsals for our first show when we signed a deal with SODEH Records out of Montreal (www.sodeh.ca). SODEH has taken on our back catalogue and are working hard. But the real work will happen with our new album. With a proper promotion campaign and videos we are planning on great success for this band.
“With a mixture of Gothic Metal, Industrial Rock and Alternative Song, a sound is created that the title itself describes, thus giving the perfect air for the presentation of an intriguing and mesmerizing letter from beginning to end.” – Roadie-music
“Rock icons don’t always have to be subtle or get dressed from the fanciest stores in town. In fact, so many of the rockstars many of us still prize today were able to make it on sheer attitude alone.” – Alt 77
