Ghostconcerts at Markthalle Hamburg – Night Laser

Venue: Markthalle Hamburg – Livestream
Date: July 15th, 2020

Concerts without an audience” became “Ghostconcerts at Markthalle”. The concept has remained. Half an hour live stream from the Great Hall of the Markthalle in Hamburg. In order to keep the fans in a good mood, to prepare for future “real” concerts, bands from and around Hamburg to offer the opportunity to be live on stage and possibly to collect additional donations. Although I would definitely like a longer playing time. Other organizers show that this is feasible.

They had planned more than sixty concerts, including thirty appearances at festivals. Night laser from Hamburg. Then Corona came. In order not to sit around idly, they intensified songwriting. The result can be heard from August 28th, the third studio album “Power To Power” – fifty minutes of heavy Glam Metal. And of course, the musicians are happy about every opportunity to play a live show, even if there are no fans in front of the stage, like this Wednesday in the Markthalle in Hamburg. They bucked for two hours, but thirty minutes is better than nothing. In addition to songs from the two studio albums already released, three new titles were also presented, whereby the title track of the new album “Power To Power” celebrated its live premiere. Of course, this creates a great deal of anticipation among the fans. And the apple guitar that guitarist Tony put on the last songs was a real eye catcher. If you want to watch the concert again, you can do so on Youtube.

In order to shorten the wait until the end of August, the quartet is planning a first “real” live concert. On August 14th. Also, in the Markthalle, but because of the distance and quarantine rules with significantly fewer fans and possible structural measures. Sounds like an interesting but also expensive concept.
