He is a co-founder of the American Hard Rock band Dare Force from Minneapolis (Minnesota), in which he has played since 1981. With this band he has released four albums and one EP (source: Discogs). In 2021 he released his solo album “Truth Or Dare”. On December 11th, 2021, he performed with his Solo band at the legendary Southern Theater in his hometown. This show was recorded. Now the singer and guitarist has released a five-song live EP. His fans can download it free of charge from his homepage.
Besides “Snake In The Grass”, which comes from the debut album, and the Thin Lizzy cover “Don’t Believe A Word”, you can also hear three brand new songs on the EP. The band presents the finest US-style Hard Rock here. Of course, this also has an impact on the cover song. “Don’t Believe A Word” sounds much heavier than the original. A very good interpretation of this classic. The new songs are also fully convincing. While “Take Me Down”, “Let Me Play” and the closing song “Snake In The Grass” from the debut album are typical Hard Rock bangers, the master impressively proves with the eight-minute epic “Tell Me Your Story” that he also masters the quiet, contemplative tones.
Banging riffs, ingenious guitar solos, strong vocals and a rhythmic drum and bass fundament make for plenty of listening fun. Fans of the cultivated guitar sound should definitely visit the homepage and download these five songs. It’s worth it.
