What was the beginning point for your music career? How did it all start?
Music was always a part of all of our lives in some way or another so it’s a bit difficult to place the exact starting point. I guess maybe from our teens , when all of us started out in bands and such. If we’re talking Artifer then it kind of started as just a niche creative outlet first and then evolved into a proper full band over the years
Were there any bumps on the road? What kind of challenges did you have to deal with?
A lot! We’ve had various band member issues as well financial ones. Just last from last fall to June this year we struggled with having live shows as our drummer was away in mandatory service.
What was the most fulfilling and satisfying moment so far?
Performing at a small Estonian metal festival called Barbar Feast this year. It was our biggest crowd yet and the overall vibe of both the festival and our show was fantastic!
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
Punk Rock with elements from metal, hardcore and pop. Highly energetic and catchy.
What is your creative process like?
Most of the time, one person will finish the majority of the song and then bring it to the rest to finalize but we have also collaboratively written parts for songs.
If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
Definitely try to steer the industry to prioritize music over popularity.
If you were asked to give a piece of advice to upcoming bands, what would that be?
Just go for it! It isn’t easy, it isn’t even fair, but while the lows are low, the highs are super high and that’s worth it!
What has been the best performance of your career so far?
Probably the encore at Barbar Feast. Everything went great and we were very happy about it.
If you didn’t become a musician, what would you be doing now?
Probably just working the same jobs we’re working anyway, just with more money to save.
What is new with the band at the moment? What are you currently working on and would like to share with the world?
We’re working on releasing a new single soon! Everything is written, we just need to hit the studio to record it!
