The numerically named, 027, have been making waves in their local Ontario burghs for a couple of years now. Not just with the crushing live fuzz rock they grind out, but by recording albums, putting on shows, and supporting the scene that they have come up in.

This hard rock trio, formed in November of 2022 from the ashes of previous projects  HairblindDorene,  and Dirty Moths, wears its grunge influences well, even doing live covers of stoner greats like  Kyuss  and  Converge with mind-melting fury.

Now, in a successful attempt to evolve their chosen sound, 027 returns with even more edge. A little quicker than it is dirty, a little more punk than it is grunge, their new EP ‘You’re Not Supposed to Know’ features three new songs plus fan favorite “Gun” taken from ‘Light of the Black Sun’ and recorded in front of a live audience at the Orangeville Grand Slam.

With over 7 years of musical experience, this young band has put their fingers in all the pots by learning to play various instruments, working hard on the art of mixing and production plus promoting their own shows and music with passion and vigor. This is the future of rock, in more ways than one!

It was a pleasure to have Keagan on the Interview to speak on the new EP and much more about 027, Check the complete coverage on the below YouTube video.
