Southern California’s The Rift “Just Fine” Celebrates the Cathartic and Uplifting Power of Rock ‘N’ Roll!
The Rift is excited to announce the release of “Just Fine,” the second single from our upcoming album, *Metamorphosis*. Produced by the legendary Mike Post at MooseCat Studios, this track is a heartfelt ode to the transformative power of rock ‘n’ roll, capturing its ability to elevate and transport us through life’s toughest moments.
“Just Fine” has become a humorous motto for us, reflecting our philosophy of resilience and defiance even when things aren’t going our way. Drawing inspiration from Monty Python’s iconic “flesh wound” scene, the song embodies a spirit of gallows humor and unwavering determination. As long as we can keep rocking, we believe you can overcome any challenge and achieve anything you set your mind to.
Musically, “Just Fine” is a straightforward rock ‘n’ roll anthem. It’s not metal—just pure, unfiltered rock. Our writing process is all about the feel of the music; we don’t confine ourselves to any particular style. If it feels good and we enjoy playing it, that’s all that matters. This track is a testament to that approach, delivering a raw and authentic rock experience.
