What was the beginning point for your music career? How did it all start?
A: I started out in choirs when I was in school, but I think it really started when I discovered karaoke, it was there I discovered how getting the crowd to dance and sing, and being on stage made me feel so amazing
Was there any bumps on the road? What kind of challenges did you have to deal with?
A: well, yes, for me, I have some health issues, I struggle a lot with anxiety and fibromyalgia, which can be painful physically and emotionally.
What was the most fulfilling and satisfying moment so far?
A: So far, the most fulfilling and satisfying moment is having my first song playing on radio, and seeing the finished product on the video with it
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
A: I’d say my music is emotional, high impacting, relatable
What is your creative process like?
A: I use life experiences, so if something strikes a chord with me, I kind of mentally file it if I don’t have a notebook with me, or I write it down if I do have a notebook, then I sit with the topic, write random thoughts that come to me, read those, rearrange them, into a poem, then make it a song
If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
A: I think I would love if the emphasis was taken off age and look, and just went with talent
If you were asked to give a piece of advice to upcoming bands, what would that be?
A: To be cliche, if you at first you don’t succeed, try, try again! Persistence is a big help, that big break might be just around the corner
What has been the best performance of your career so far?
A: Well, I’m just new to this, so, I have only in studio experience right now, but I plan to soon be out doing live things… otherwise my best performance has been at a karaoke competition where I won 2and place, but only because I wasn’t a local and getting 1st might offend the locals the host said haha
If you didn’t become a musician, what would you be doing now?
A: I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was a kid, I suppose I might have tried to pursue that
What is new with the band at the moment?
A: Right now, everything is new haha
What are you currently working on and would like to share with the world?
