Rock band Insanidade are back with an explosive new single and announce exciting details about their upcoming studio album, scheduled for 2024. Titled “Bad Boys”, the single marks a significant evolution in the band’s sound, adopting a more robust approach of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, with strong influences from Motorhead and Motley Crue.
The highlight of “Bad Boys” is a sweeping guitar solo performed by Luís Maldonalle, the band’s renowned guitarist. This single not only reflects Insanity’s new musical direction, but also sets the stage for the release of their fourth studio album, titled “Enough to be a Loser.”
“Enough to be a Loser”, scheduled for release soon, promises to be a tribute to the Hard Rock and Heavy Metal icons of the 70s and 80s, with obvious influences from bands like Motley Crue, Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC and Motorhead. The album marks a milestone in Insanidade’s career, including their first cover, the Motley Crue song “Looks that Kill”, which will certainly be a highlight among fans.
The entire recording and production process for “Enough to be a Loser” took place at the renowned RockLab studio, under the supervision of producer Gustavo Vasquez, who also plays bass in the band. The album cover, designed by Beto Ferris, reinforces the Hard Rock and Heavy Metal aesthetic that permeates the entire work.
In addition to the musical news, Insanidade also underwent a change in lineup after recording the album. Luís Maldonalle, the band’s talented guitarist, recently moved to Portugal, making room for Beto Rockfeller to take over the guitars. Beto, an old friend of the band and vocalist/guitarist of the band Os Rockefellers, is excited about the new phase and ready to contribute his unique style.
“Bad Boys” is now available on all digital platforms, accompanied by a YouTube video that captures all the energy and intensity that defines Insanity.
