German melodic death metal band BATTLESWORD is set to release their latest album, “(XX)V – Of Tales and Tragedies”, on September 26th. This new release marks the band’s 25th anniversary and features 11 tracks, spanning almost 50 minutes of hard-hitting, melodic death metal.
The album includes the self-reflective track “Brethren of the Sword,” a tribute to the band’s legacy. Just like their previous album, “(XX)V” was recorded and mixed by Michael “Freio” Haas at Big Easy Studio in Hennef, with mastering handled by Dan Swanö. The album will be available on both CD and vinyl.
The first single, “Memento (te hominem esse)”, has been released as a lyric video, giving fans a taste of what’s to come. Watch the video on the MDD YouTube channel here.
