Dirty Slippers are a four-member indie pop rock band originally from Budapest but with a base in London. 3 of the band’s records reached the top Hungarian album sales charts and 11 songs were on the top lists of various radio stations in the UK and Europe. They have performed in 10 European countries with artists such as The Coronas, The Last Vegas, Sportfreunde Stiller, Goran Gregovic and the iconic DJ Paul Van Dyk.

In 2009, the band recorded their first LP in Cleveland, USA, and the last one in the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London. Their work is supported by producers such as George Shilling (Oasis, Frank Turner, Blur) and Tim Palmer (Bon Jovi, U2). Their first English single release, ‘Honest Kid’, was released internationally and was praised by the international press (RGM Magazine, A&R Factory UK, The Aquarian USA, etc.), and also appeared on the weekly charts of British and Australian city radio stations. Their second single ‘Wide Open’ debuted on Planet Rock Radio.

In 2024, Dirty Slippers will celebrate their 15th Anniversary with a new album, an international tour and headline festival gig at European Union’s Bauhaus Festival in Brussels and Rock Maris Romania as well as a forthcoming UK tour in November of 2024. The band has more than 2 Million views on YouTube, 100k streams on Spotify and 40k followers on social media sites!

The band released ‘On Top Of The World’ earlier this year, their first single since partnering with Reaction Management. The single received global airplay and positive feedback, increasing their visibility worldwide.

Their new single ‘Where Did The Summer Go?’
will be released across all platforms on 27/9/24

“Dirty Slippers’ new song is about a serious love disappointment. It is about the moment when the cheated half wants to find themselves again, after a relationship where their self-esteem has been totally destroyed. They realize it is really complicated to build up again, and as every summer passes, all problems become only a part of the past after a while”.
