Paint Me Crimson was formed in 2023, walking in the footsteps of giants Bring Me The Horizon, Sleep Token, and Linkin Park. Bound together on a cathartic journey, the Londoners aim to translate the madness of this world into unpredictable tunes.
After a series of headline shows in the city that never sleeps, the alt-metal quintet came out the gate swinging with their debut single ‘Ghost Over My Shoulder’ in April 2024, blending riffs and melody with punchy EDM synths and unique storytelling. The track picked up airplay across the globe, increasing the band’s visibility. In July 2024, they joined forces with producer Alex Copp (As December Falls, Chaidura) to record their new single ‘Blindsight’, truly letting the monster loose in a heavy overdriven rage against nonsense.

“Blindsight is an alternative metal song by Paint Me Crimson about how our world is fully aware of its imminent self-provoked end, yet appears to remain completely blind to it. Mixing overdriven EDM synths with brutal breakdowns and unexpected vocals, the track delivers an ominous message and comes knocking at the door with a plea to humanity to stop turning a blind eye. It was originally written as a guitar driven metal track by guitarist & producer Danil Almeida who wanted to explore a heavier side of the band along with the concept of the song.
Vocalist Bill Rouat, inspired by Peter Watt’s novel ‘Blindsight’, decided to explore an even darker side, wondering why the world kept repeating the same mistakes over and over, in a time of wars, famine, and backwards ideas. Approaching producer Alex Copp (As December Falls), the latter instantly connected with the demo and recorded the final track with the band in July 2024, bringing an even more brutal dimension to the song”.
