Crawling back from the grave on September 12th, Ohio’s MORTUARY GHOUL rises once more to unleash ‘Wear Your Face: Corpse Exhumation Redux,’ the unearthed remains of 2022’s ‘Corpse Exhumation’ EP, now reanimated into a grisly full-length gore fest, loaded with three new rotting tracks, and cloaked in a chilling new artwork by Julian Mortuus that pays direct homage to ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.’
Originally recorded as a demo in 2020 before finally being released in 2022, ‘Corpse Exhumation’ sent shockwaves through the underground. Three years later, MORTUARY GHOUL returns armed with ‘Wear Your Face: Corpse Exhumation Redux,’ complete with a full remix and remaster courtesy of Wes Mousseau at Bone Temple, ready to once again exact deranged sonic battery upon all who dare listen.

Over the course of thirty minutes, MORTUARY GHOUL delivers ten devastating blows of brutal death metal, fuelled by relentless fury and a dark infatuation with infamous horror figures like Ed Gein and cult classics such as ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ (1974), ‘Deranged’ (1974), and ‘Psycho’ (1960).
‘Wear Your Face: Corpse Exhumation Redux’ will be available on digital, CD, cassette tape, and vinyl formats. The “Skin Mask” collectors edition vinyl will also be available, which includes the “Skin Suit” vinyl variant, a cut-out skin mask, and a grindhouse movie poster. Strictly limited to 50 copies.
