Angels on the Battlefield (Feat. Former members of Voodoo Kungfu, Nekrogoblikon, & Butcher Babies) Announce Debut US Headline Tour
Epic instrumental prog metal outfit Angels on the Battlefield announces The Sleeper Has Awakened Tour, their debut US headliner. The band features guitarist JD McGibney (former Voodoo Kungfu), bassist Jason Klein (former Butcher Babies), and TV and film composer Chris Wirsig on keyboards. The band will be joined by drummer Eddie Trager (former Nekrogoblikon, and current multi-instrumentalist in Take & Take).
“It’s been a few years since any of us have been on the road,” says guitarist JD, “and we’re stoked to finally be taking Angels on the Battlefield out on tour. Ever since we started working together on this project, the end goal has always been to bring AOTB to the stage and connect with audiences in person. The timing feels right for magic to happen!”
Angels on the Battlefield will be joined by symphonic metal act Anthea. The tour begins October 3rd, with tickets going on sale August 29th. Get your tickets here.
