Nightblaze: Releases First Single & Video “State Of Grace”

Guitarist Dario Grillo explains: “‘State Of Grace’ is the first single from ‘Evaricade’. It’s a song that completely departs from our old, typically ‘80s sound. For these new songs, my intention was to craft something more modern and less easily defined than standard AOR or melodic rock. To achieve this, I drew heavily from American sleaze rock, while also incorporating blues and classic rock in the AC/DC style. The track features influences from Velvet Revolver, the Black Crowes, and even Dann Huff’s early Giant. The rhythms were recorded with a Gibson Les Paul, which gives it that warm, typical American sound. We also added a harmonica and a brass section. Damiano’s West Coast-style timbre brought an extra layer of originality. It’s almost like hearing the best of Tom Jones in a duet with Slash’s Snakepit.”

Produced, mixed and mastered by Dario Grillo, “Evaricade” is a heartfelt farewell, featuring four, brand-new, previously unreleased tracks written before their dissolution. These songs capture the band’s signature blend of soaring melodies, emotive lyrics, and polished production, showcasing their creative peak. Complimenting these new compositions is a collection of alternate versions of tracks from their self-titled debut album. The re-imagined tracks on “Evaricade” offer a fresh, alternative perspective, blending innovative arrangements with the timeless energy that defined Nightblaze‘s sound. This release is both a tribute to their short-lived but remarkable journey, and a gift to their devoted fan-base.

“Evaricade” will be released on November 7, 2025 via Art Of Melody Music / Burning Minds Music Group. The CD booklet features introductory liner notes written by Franco Leonetti (Metallized.it).
