Morke – Medieval Black Metal Project Unveil Video For “Ashes of Feudalism” Via Invisible Oranges

Medieval black metal project Mørke, the creation of sole member Eric Wing, has revealed a brand-new video for “Ashes of Feudalism”, now playing via Invisible Oranges.

The site praised the track, noting: “It has the confidence to assault a castle under the shadow of night, different from the fury necessary to slay an enemy or the nihilism to burn the world because there’s no hope of building a better one.”

The track is taken from Mørke’s upcoming fourth full-length To Carry On, due out October 10 on True Cult Records.

Wing explains the track’s theme: “‘Ashes of Feudalism’ is a short tale about a group of common people banding together at nightfall to siege a fortress that houses the monarchy ruling over them, dismantling it, and reclaiming their freedom. March into battle and tear down your oppressors, because the freedom of the people is the only true freedom.”

The song also features a guest solo by Tanner Anderson and drumming by CJ Yacoub, whom Wing hails as crucial in bringing the track to life: “This is one of my favorites on the record and I couldn’t have realized it without Tanner and CJ. I’m really proud of this one, and I hope you all enjoy it. Love and hails!”
