Hei’An is a five-piece modern metal band from Slovenia whose unique sound blends elements from various metal, rock, pop, and electronic music styles. Their deeply emotional and impactful songs are packed with both intimate moments and massive segments.
Hei’An released their debut album, imago, via SAOL in November 2022. It was produced by Matej Gobec (Laibach) at The Cosmosonic Studios. To follow up on the album’s success, the band flew to the world-famous EastWest Studios in Los Angeles to record live versions of four songs from imago with a string quartet from the LA Philharmonic. The resulting EP, Live at EastWest Studios, came out in October 2023.
