Witchcraft is the darkest, heaviest, and most personal Outerburst record to date, a journey through eerie atmospheres, aggressive riffing, and introspective storytelling. The album opens with “Inception”, an instrumental track that sets the spooky, cinematic tone with symphonic layers and signature heavy guitars. The title track “Witchcraft” blends fast riffs, haunting arrangements, and huge choirs while questioning whether we truly live life on our own terms or wait for fate to intervene. “The Gathering” channels the band’s groovy, doomy side with crushing riffs and melodic vocal layers, followed by “Tormented”, a frantic, chaotic song inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Man of the Crowd”. With “Survival of the Fittest”, the band goes back to one of the first melodies ever written, capturing a time of struggle when Outerburst was still an idea born out of personal battles. “Bloodshot Eyes”, featuring Buzz from Memories of a Lost Soul on vocals, is our scream against cyberbullies and the monsters that crawl into real life through hate and indifference, while the instrumental “At The Mountains of Madness” takes listeners deep into Lovecraftian horror with dark soundscapes and a hypnotic guitar solo by Glen Drover (ex-Megadeth, King Diamond). “The Fallen Angel Rebirth” envisions the rise of evil as if Satan himself emerged to corrupt mankind among the total indifference for life by all human beings. “Phenomena” closes the record with a tribute to the horror soundtracks of Goblin and the chilling influence of Dario Argento’s films. This album is our statement, blending heavy music, horror culture, and raw emotion into one relentless experience.

OUTERBURST were founded in 2015 as a studio project by bassist and producer Santo Clemenzi (From The Depth, Mindohm), joined by drummer Massimo Goletti, his long-time rhythm section partner since their days in Deimos, U.S. guitarist Erik Peabody (Viking Guitar), and German vocalist and voice actor Michael Gildner. The band blends technical precision, power, and cinematic atmospheres into a sound that merges heavy metal, melody, and emotional intensity.
Their debut came in 2016 with the EP “Phase A: Kaishi”, written, arranged, mixed, and mastered by Clemenzi himself and featuring renowned guest musicians such as Roberto Tiranti (Labyrinth), Paolo Fosso (Armonite) and Raffaele “Raffo” Albanese (From The Depth).
Following the success of their debut, Outerburst returned in 2025 with the new full-length album “Witchcraft” , expanding the lineup with Canadian guitarist Xavier Filion (Emblem for Damnation) and Gianpiero “Jump” Milione (From The Depth). “Witchcraft” is a mature and powerful work, preceded by singles “Bloodshot Eyes” (2025) and “At The Mountains of Madness” (late 2024), and featuring special guests Buzz (Memories of a Lost Soul) and Glen Drover (Eidolon, ex-Megadeth). The album represents the full evolution of the project, enriched by new collaborations and a sound that firmly establishes the band’s identity within the underground metal scene.
