NEW Holiday Single from Philly Rockers Corners of Sanctuary: “What If Christmas Was Everyday?”

It’s that time of year again, and the boys from COS have another, all new original Holiday track loaded up and read to make its way across the Aura Borealis into the stockings of every good little boy and girl Metalhead. 

Corners of Sanctuary’s latest Yuletide single, which ponders the question, “What if Christmas Was Everyday?,” delivers an explosive, high energy song that continues to carry on the band’s decade plus Merry Metal Xmas eclectic philosophy with all the trimmings.

“What if Christmas Was Everyday?” is written around the idea of how to get more out of life, exploring the sentiment of living the joy of the season all year long but without all the commercial trappings that are often imposed upon us.

Since 2012, COS‘ annual tradition of dropping holiday music has become a staple not only for the band and their catalog but with fans as well.

“It’s become something that people look forward to,” says COS founder and guitarist Mick Michaels. “An unexpected magic… we started out doing it for ourselves, and in true holiday spirit, it’s become about doing it for others.”

“What if Christmas Was Everyday?“ is available for streaming on most major platforms via SODEH Records. Merry Metal Xmas XII CDs are available exclusively on the bands official website through Sonic Velocity Records. An audio visualizer video for ‘What if Christmas Was Everyday?” also accompanies the new single and is currently streaming on Youtube.

2026 will mark Corners of Sanctuary’s 15th Year Anniversary. The band has a number of things already planned, including a biography release, album reissues, and, of course, new music.
