The album is meant to be both emotional and energetic. We wanted to capture the intensity and vulnerability that define Lily Löwe — big riffs, catchy hooks, strong vocals, and lyrics that hit close to the heart. Each single represents a different side of who we are as a band.

Self-assured words from singer and namesake Lily Löwe (real name Lill Sofie Wilsberg). The band made their debut at the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix in 2022 with the song ‘Bad Baby’. Their debut album ‘LÖWE’ was released in the same year. The band received many good reviews in their home country for this album. In preparation for the follow-up album ‘Beautiful Disaster’, five singles were released in 2025, which were apparently also compiled on an EP. Musically, Lily Löwe has dedicated herself to Melodic Hard Rock.

Driving drums and Lily’s powerful vocals define the mid-tempo Rock anthem ‘Demons’. Short and punchy, it clocks in at less than three minutes. ‘Haunted House’ is defined by a powerful bass line. The tempo hardly changes. On ‘Puppet Master’, the hard riffs call for a powerful voice. And that’s exactly what Lily has. There’s also a fast-paced guitar solo. What are those heavy riffs on ‘Beg For Your Life’? The vocals also sound a bit snottier in places. A strong contrast to the other songs on the album. Although ‘Beautiful Disaster’ is a rock ballad, the overall mood is a bit dark. As the title suggests, ‘Glitter & Gore’ is Glam Rock, loud, fast, with a slight punk slant. This is also and above all due to the fast guitars and the even faster guitar solo. Lily impresses with her dark timbre. ‘Our Secret’ is a danceable song. The riffs set the rhythm for it. Once again, a title that describes the musical concept. ‘Wild’ is an energetic Rock anthem. Lily’s vocals sound slightly snotty again. A song that is sure to go down well live. At the very end, there is another breather with the great power ballad ‘Love Like This’.

‘Beautiful Disaster’ is entertainment at its finest. Melodic Hard Rock with occasional punk influences. The powerful and versatile voice of frontwoman Lily Löwe is the icing on the cake. And her bandmates provide the accompanying soundscape.
