On 20 September 2025 AGGRESSORS POETRY™ released their debut album LIFELINE, a powerful Heavy Metal Concept album exploring life’s inner and outer challenges. The twelve-piece concept album, based on actual events, started out as a solo project, but developed into a strong first release from the writer and composer Øivind Andersen, strongly supported by vocalist Kent Walseth.
Øivind Andersen writes:
“Aggressors Poetry™ originates from Trondheim Norway, the metal city of Norway. The album LIFELINE released on 20 September 2025, is a concept album of 12 tracks. I started writing the lyrics 20 years ago when a close friend of me died and wrote most of the music 10 years ago. The lyrics tell the story of a lifeline, inspired by actual events, exploring the struggles and challenges in life that we all face.”
“I did not have a vocalist to do the vocals and find the right vocal progressions, but luck stroke me an April day in 2024 and I got in contact with Kent Walseth, a very able vocalist. Others involved are Jon Vold on acoustic drums, and our mixer and mastering boss Jon Tore Dombu of Skarp Studios and Trondheim Audio Devices. The designs and videos have been created in co-operation with Walter Hildebrand from Austria.”
Aggressors Poetry™ is currently promoting two tracks from the Aggression Suite of the album – “My World” and “We Rule Alone” – both strong epic tales about the strength of youth, and the will and termination to challenge and fight to keep positions amongst challengers.
