HEIDEN Release New Video for “Vodě (To the Water)” — A Haunting Final Visual Chapter from Upcoming Album Cma

Czech atmospheric post black metal band Heiden present their brand-new music video for “Vodě (To the Water)”, the second and final video release from their forthcoming album Cma, out April 24, 2026 via Epidemie Records.

“Vodě” is a deeply emotional and tragic composition, portraying water as an unstoppable natural force that takes life without mercy. The song captures a profound sense of helplessness and despair in the face of inevitable loss. The accompanying video transports viewers into intimate and meaningful locations—places rooted deep in memory and personal history—where the story of the song unfolds.

Conceived as a counterpoint to the band’s previous single “Temnoplodec (Darkbearer),” the track offers a different emotional perspective while remaining thematically connected. The video intentionally maintains a certain distance from the song’s lyrics, yet subtly reflects and resonates with its underlying message.

While far from uplifting, “Vodě” reveals a unique and striking beauty in darkness—an experience the band invites listeners to immerse themselves in and share.

About the Album:
With Cma, Heiden unveil the darkest chapter of their work to date—a layered, pitch-black mass reminiscent of ash from burned-down dwellings, absorbed by the Carpathian Mountains.

Band History:

Formed in 2003 by Kverd and Varnag, HEIDEN began as a pagan black metal project rooted in the Carpathians. The band has evolved while maintaining a dark, uncompromising core:

  • Dolores (2011) and A kdybys už nebyla, vymyslím si tě (2013) established HEIDEN as a respected underground name.
  • Experimental releases in 2015 and 2019 deepened the band’s sonic and emotional range.
  • Andzjel (2022) explored the White Carpathians and the tragic legacy of the Žítková goddesses.

With Cma, HEIDEN delivers a darker, heavier, and more oppressive album, pushing their post-black metal vision to its most uncompromising form.

Line-up:

  • Einsk – drums
  • Tom – guitars
  • Werlinga – keys
  • kverd – vocals, guitar
