“L’alba delle Tenebre”, the new solo work by Kalrog Naar, is finally out, released in 2026 via Kalrog Records. The album, sung entirely in Italian, pays tribute to the legends of Italian Epic Metal, such as Rosae Crucis, authors of “Il Re del Mondo”, who have been a major influence on Kalrog in recent years.

The tracks combine romantic and dark atmospheres with an epic, cinematic approach. The lyrics draw inspiration from books and films: the title track references Fritz Lieber’s 1950 novel (Gather, Darkness!), while “Dove comincia la notte” nods to Italian genre cinema, inspired by Maurizio Zaccaro’s 1991 film.
