The Bulgarian independent project BRAINMAZE returns with a powerful new single, “Nightmare & Reality”—a dark and immersive track that blurs the line between illusion and truth, fear and selfawareness.
The single builds on the foundation established in the debut album “When Your Demons Come” (2024), expanding the project’s signature themes of internal struggle, identity, and confrontation with the subconscious.
Driven by heavy atmosphere, layered composition, and a cinematic approach to sound, “Nightmare & Reality” is not just a song—it is an experience. The track reflects the fragile boundary between perception and reality, inviting listeners into a space where both collide. “This track represents that moment when you can no longer escape your own mind,” says Shishkov. “It’s about facing what’s real—even when it feels like a nightmare.”
