German heavy rock trio SAMAVAYO shares “California Sun” video off upcoming split album with ALUNAH; out June 5th on Heavy Psych Sounds
Berlin heavy rockers SAMAVAYO team up with The Obelisk to premiere their brand new video for “California Sun”, taken from their forthcoming “Embers of Belief” split record with ALUNAH on Heavy Psych Sounds.

Says the band: “California Sky is a psychedelic, acoustic ode to Samavayo’s 2025 US tour, capturing a paradoxical longing for the American desert landscape. It evokes a sense of spiritual belonging in the vast emptiness of Joshua Tree, while reflecting a deep yet helpless emotional connection to the United States and all its contradictions.”
The upcoming “Embers of Belief” with UK heavy rockers Alunah features seven tracks total. On their side of the record, Samavayo introduces three new studio recordings (including the latest single Bavar) for an overall exhilarating experience, while Alunah presents two new studio songs (including the latest single La Pucelle) — celebrating the studio debut of new vocalist Daisy Savage — alongside two live recordings as part of the band’s 20th anniversary.
