OXYGEN is a song about emotional dependency and how closeness becomes a matter of existence. It depicts toxic attachment, attachment trauma, and the fatal pattern of tying one’s own worth to the attention of others. The relationship becomes like oxygen itself: vital and in high doses destructive. Between crushing weight and vulnerable openness, an inner conflict unfolds from the longing for stability and the fear of abandonment. Musically, the track oscillates between controlled tension, atmospheric moments, and emotional eruptions. OXYGEN feels like the moment you realize you’ve breathed in too deeply and don’t know whether surfacing means rescue or loss and it ends with the bitter realization that you yourself are part of the very cycle you were trying to survive.
