“Resurrection”, the first single by Alex Mari, is now available on all streaming and digital download platforms. The track is taken from the debut album “Origins”, due on October 9, 2026. The official video, directed by PoleDigitalPix, is now available on YouTube.
Alex explains the meaning behind the song: “A soul suspended in an ethereal plane beyond time, where the world appears distant and blurred. Behind the metaphysical image of resurrection lies a human wound: the end of a relationship, the sense of disorientation that follows, and the time needed for pain to lose its hold and make room for a new beginning. Not an ending, but a passage toward rebirth.”
“Origins” was mixed and mastered by Roberto Priori at Pri Studio (Danger Zone, Wheels Of Fire, Raintimes, Michele Luppi, Backlash, Night Pleasure Hotel) in Bologna, Italy.

Alex Mari is an Italian rock/metal singer, songwriter, and musician known for his original work with the AOR band Night Pleasure Hotel and the progressive rock band Barock Project. He also performs as a backing vocalist with Michele Luppi (Whitesnake) in the Michele Luppi Band, and has recorded backing vocals for Rhapsody Of Fire on the albums “Legendary Years”, “The Eighth Mountain” and “Glory For Salvation”. His live experience also includes performances with Ophiura, Secret Sphere, and Markonee, alongside a range of collaborations across the rock and metal scene.
