LOS ANGELES, CA: Multi-platinum-selling band ORGY continues to redefine the Nu Metal and Death Pop sound on their terms and their latest single “Dangerous Lyfe” is taking on a life of its own. To coincide with ORGY’S multiple city tour with icons Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson, the companion lyric video to “Dangerous Lyfe” drops Friday, August 21, at 8 a.m. Pacific Time. “Dangerous Lyfe” continues to climb the Metal Contraband and Mediabase Charts. The song recently entered rotation on SiriusXM Octane and has captured the attention of a younger generation via the NACC (North American College Community Radio Chart). “Dangerous Lyfe” is released via D1 Music.

ORGY spawned from the late 1990’s Goth music scene with their debut, platinum-selling album, “Candyass” featuring the single “Stitches”. It was the incredible remake of New Order’s “Blue Monday” that went on to sell over two million copies. In 2000, the band released “Fiction (Dreams in Digital)” that landed at No. 6 on the Billboard Alternative Chart and No. 26-charting “Opticon”. Founding member Jay Gordon (vocals), along with Carlton Bost (guitar), Nic Speck (bass), and Joey Scream have been the core of ORGY since 2011; joining them is Ilia Yordanov (guitar) and Tommy “The Villain” Rockoff (drums).
While the ORGY sound continues to evolve, it’s still unmistakably an amalgamation of provocative lyrics, rich synthesizers, anthemic choruses and a bit of rock rap. Hard to define but easily identifiable – on “Dangerous Lyfe” ORGY worked with producer Hiram Hernandez, who arranged and mixed the track at Earthsays Studio. Hiram has mixed and or produced many artists, including As I Lay Dying, Scary Kids, Eyes Set To Kill and more) on “Dangerous Lyfe”.
Following the Fall run with Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson, ORGY performs at Sick New World Texas 2026 and then heads to the UK to support SKINDRED, Alien Ant Farm, and Spineshank.
