Wolnera is DESPERATE….DESPERATE FOR A DROP
Wolnera continues to resist being put in a box as they release their new single and music video, DESPERATE FOR A DROP.
Following their July single ART OF LOSING, which showcased their evolution toward a modern sound, the band from Slovakia is back with another release accompanied by a music video. The music video was filmed and edited by Štefan Šimuni at the Burn Fest Open Air 2026 festival. Sound engineering and production were once again handled by Košice-based producer Radovan Kočík.
Founded in 2023, the young metal band has already earned two RadioHead Awards (The biggest slovak alternative awards) nominations – evolving rapidly from raw thrash on Product of Fear (2023) to technical prog on Building Reality (2025). Theese new singles mark their next major chapter: stepping completely away from retro influences to embrace a modern, song-driven sound. ,,Even though we’ve never met I’m desperate for a drop…,,
