EMPERORS & ANGELS DELIVER A HARD-HITTING MODERN ROCK ANTHEM
NEW SINGLE “WHITE LIES” OUT NOW
VIA CURTAIN CALL RECORDS & ROCK RAGE PROMOTIONS
Midwestern modern rock powerhouse Emperors & Angels returns with their explosive new single “White Lies”—a heavy-hitting track blending raw aggression, infectious hooks, and a profound message that challenges life’s most comfortable truths.
PEORIA, IL — October, 2026 — modern rock foursome Emperors & Angels are back with authority, officially dropping their ferocious new track, “White Lies”. Released via Curtain Call Records , the single delivers a lethal combination of massive riffage, thunderous rhythm, and deeply emotional conviction.
Built on a self-produced modern rock edge laced with classic rock grit and anthemic hair metal sensibilities, “White Lies” demands attention from its very first note. Bela McKnight sets the tone with blistering guitar hooks, supported by Jason Hedrick’s deep, rumbling low-end and sub-bass drops. Brett Huntley’s explosive drumming fuels the track’s relentless momentum, while lead vocalist Matt Nevitt delivers a gripping performance packed with genuine feeling and lyrical purpose.
Comforting Half-Truths and Uncomfortable Realities
Beyond its heavy audio punch, “White Lies” explores the delicate space between the comforting fables we are taught from childhood and the sobering reality of adult life. The song confronts the well-intentioned half-truths often passed down through generations—reminding listeners that deception does not always stem from malice, but sometimes from those who genuinely believe they are helping.
“Emperors & Angels bring a fire and authenticity that’s impossible to ignore. This new single is going to shake things up and we’re proud to stand behind it. Get ready, because this is just the beginning.”— Gigi, CEO of Curtain Call Records
