The new Halflives era is fully up and running! Weeks after their return with the brilliant Unshattered, Halflives take things in a different, but equally exciting direction with their new single Rebels (featuring US rockers All Good Things). 

A tale of uprisings inspired by some of the best known underdog stories of recent times, Rebels features another of the huge trademark choruses that Halflives’ Linda Battilani has become so well known for.

“While my last single, Unshattered, came from a deeply personal place of fighting internal battles, “Rebels” (feat. All Good Things) was born from a completely different kind of creative spark. This track was meticulously engineered from the ground up with a singular, laser-focused vision: to capture a massive and unapologetically epic energy. We sat down with the deliberate goal of crafting a blockbuster anthem, designing every beat and progression to deliver maximum sonic impact.

The result is a pure, high-octane battle cry about resilience and standing up for what is right. When writing the lyrics, I envisioned the high-stakes, adrenaline-fueled worlds of The Hunger Games, Divergent, and Arcane. It’s a track about going against the flow and breaking the mold.

Musically, collaborating with All Good Things allowed us to lean entirely into a huge, larger-than-life sound. Where Unshattered gave you heavy riffs and a raw, personal release, “Rebels” offers a sweeping, universal anthem. It’s built to be a massive wall of sound, the kind of track meant to ignite a fire in you  and inspire you to ride the wave no matter what’s trying to drag you down.” 

Rebels is the follow up to Halflives’ first single of the new era, Unshattered. The heaviest single in the Halflives arsenal so far, Unshattered combines Linda Battilani’s trademark songwriting abilities while taking Halflives musically to new places, including harsh vocals for the very first time. 

Accompanying the release of Unshattered is an epic music video. Renown for their high quality music videos, the video for Unshattered is dark, moody and electric, whipping up a storm in more ways than one! It is a video that keeps up the Halflives standards for impressive visuals that stay long in the memory.

Halflives are very pleased to be starting the live shows of this new era by hitting the road as special guests to Enemy Inside in early 2027. They’ll be embarking on a 12 date tour with shows mainly across Germany but with a few dates elsewhere in Europe as well. The full list of shows can be found on the poster below.
