DISTRICT 13 today are releasing their new video for the song “Is This the Way” from their current album “SOMA” as a premiere here in the Metalheads Forever Magazine. With “Is This the Way” the 3 guys from U.K. show, that they also have a knack for ballads. A ballad that is not only melodically powerful, but whose lyrics also get under your skin.
“Is This the Way” was originally written by the singer, Jon Wild, as an acoustic version. At a time when Rich Vanderpuije (bass), Asen Milushev (drums) and he did not know each other. At a time which was anything but easy. The key questions are: Do we ever make the right choices in life? Do we ever find a place or a time that feels right? . . .
