The relationship between the Portlandia creator/actor Armisen and the Portland-based band began with Armisen’s guest appearance in Red Fang’s much beloved, zombie apocalypse-themed “Blood Like Cream” (https://youtu.be/elfuaxHQWlQ) video.
Red Fang have also rescheduled their anticipated streaming event to Aug. 11 at 7 pm pacific with the performance including songs from their recently released album Arrows as well as tracks from Murder the Mountains. The Mississippi Studios set performance will feature two segments in which 10 fans will join Red Fang for a live meet and greet at the venue. Tickets are available now.
The band play their first live dates since late 2019, with a U.S. trek that includes the group’s first Alaskan performance. Tickets for the month-long outing are available now. Starcrawler opens on all headlining dates (except Alaska), with Here Lies Man (Oct. 15 to Oct. 27) and Warish (Oct. 29 to Nov. 18) rounding out the bill. Prior to the headlining tour, Red Fang play Aug. 21 at Psycho Las Vegas, Sept. 26 at Louder Than Life, and at a special Halloween show with All The Witches at the fabled Ryman Auditorium.

Red Fang is Aaron Beam (bass/vocals/guitar/keyboards), Bryan Giles (guitar/vocals), John Sherman (drums) and David Sullivan (guitars). Over the course of their 16-year career the Portland, Oregon-based band has released five studio albums: Red Fang (2009), Murder the Mountains (2011), Whales and Leeches (2013), Only Ghosts (2016), and Arrows (2021). Over the course of their career, the band has been joined Fred Armisen in an epic battle against invading zombie hordes, accompanied by Paul Shaffer during a standout performance on The Late Show with David Letterman, and have created the best music videos in recent history.
