UK rock/metal band, THE LAST SIREN – the alt rock/metal project of touring musician Jayke Turl, have released their EP ‘Counter Faith’ today on October 15th, via Criminal Records. THE LAST SIREN is the latest contender from the South Coast music scene. The EP screams out with deliverance from the oppression of blind dogma.
Bassist of The Smokin’ Prophets and guest guitarist at The Kut, Jayke is certainly no stranger to the UK touring & festival circuit. This time, Jayke takes centre stage, bringing with him heavy vocals, riffs and a new twisted reality.
Lead-off single ‘Fight’ parades intensity and melancholy in equal proportions, with radio play spanning from Kerrang! Radio to KALX, USA. While ‘Crucify This’ took a further step into the deep dive and saw the band amass over 180 plays on Amazing Radio UK & USA.
With ‘The Cage’, we saw The Last Siren break out of an emotional storm, with influences ranging from Three Days Grace to Alice in Chains.
‘Break The Noose’, is the final piece of the puzzle to ‘Counter Faith’. A call to arms to break free from whatever toxic chains are holding you back. Incorporating elements from all corners Metal over the past few decades, Break The Noose is one best played loud!
