OCEAN DRIVE RELEASES BANGER “LOSING SIGHT” – LISTEN!
Ocean Drive, the four-piece metalcore band from Montréal, Canada, has released their newest single “Losing Sight” ft. Drew York of Stray From The Path today. Listen HERE.
“Losing Sight is a departure from the sound we had in our previous releases, we decided to explore a darker and heavier sound. We really made it clear from the start that we wanted to have strong production and a clear visual identity. We wanted to offer quality music that people can relate to and so that we can share our art with others and appreciate our art to the fullest,” says Antoine Beauchamp (vocals).
From traditional metalcore to modern themes and for fans of Knocked Loose, Wage War and Code Orange, Ocean Drive’s sound is in constant evolution. The group is always experimenting and polishing themselves. “Losing Sight” represents a comeback for the band, as they step away from their past sounds and explore more aggressive themes. The single sees the band pushing themselves outside of their comfort zone and collaborating with new people including Drew York of Stray From The Path. The single was mixed and mastered by Lance Prenc (Polaris, Alpha Wolf, Dealer, Diamond Construct, etc.). With a new lineup and a clearer idea of the genre they want to explore, Ocean Drive is building their future and looking forward to what the band will one day become.
They released their first EP “Snowpiercer” in May 2019 which instantly gained a lot of attention from the local heavy music scene. In less than two years, Ocean Drive played with an impressive list of bands such as Bury Your Dead, Upon A Burning Body, Enox (ex-Enochian), The Parallel, The Northern and Feels Like Home.
STAY TUNED for what’s coming up for the band in 2022!
