The band FAR BEYOND EMPIRE , one of the biggest revelations of Modern/Death Metal from Rio de Janeiro, released an unreleased version of the video for the song “ FINDING SINS ”, success of their debut album “SLEEPWALKING SOCIETY” . The new cut brings novelties such as a greater presence of the dancer Tatiane Lima, who performs beautiful movements following the weight and aggressiveness of the melodies.
The song “ FINDINGSINS ” is the penultimate tracklist of the band’s debut album “ SLEEPWALKINGSOCIETY ”, released in 2021 and filled with social and political criticism. Across the 10 brutal compositions are instant hits like “ WHO WATCHES THE WATCHER ”, “ SCARECROW ” and “ CAPITAL ”.
About the new version of the video for “ FINDINGSINS ”, vocalist HUGOPURCINO gives details:
“We couldn’t be happier with the result of this new version of ‘ FINDING SINS’ ! The previous version was already killer and now we gave more space to the takes in which our dancer Tatiane Lima shines. The result was something even more uplifting”, celebrates HUGOPURCINO .
As for the release of “ SLEEPWAKLINGSOCIETY” , guitarist MARCELOFISHY explains that the idea behind the work is to talk about “undesirable issues” that “bother in general”.
“We are very excited about the release of ‘ SLEEPWALKING SOCIETY’ ! We have a political and psychological approach and we talk in our lyrics about points that bother us in general. Generally, people don’t like to think about these ‘undesirable’ matters. Our lyrics talk about this kind of thing, exactly because this thing of not talking about problems is the worst thing we can do in the social and political context in which Brazil finds itself” , says guitarist MARCELOFISHY .
Still on the messages that FARBEYONDEMPIRE wants to convey in “ SLEEPWALKINGSOCIETY ”, drummer RAULFONTANELLE explains further:
“Our album cover already shows an image that reflects our positioning. Prisons and bars represent our very segregated society, based on prejudice. We are immersed in a sea of suffering and numbed by our egos, always taking selfies. We limit our horizons by using cell phones all the time. Everything around us is on fire, but we live as if none of this is happening”, says RAUL FONTANELLE.
