Greetings from Metalheads Forever Magazine, I’m Keith Clement, the head of the magazine, how are you today?

Man always staying busy, always recording. We are taking a little break from touring while the rest of the world goes crazy over it.

Earlier this year you released “Fuel Injected Suicide Machine” EP can you tell me about the songwriting and production behind it?

Well, we worked like crazy writing and recording with Death Dealer. We have a 4th record completely finished now and our management suggested we do an EP to bridge the gap between albums. I have never done an EP before so it was new territory. We actually had a large portion of the 5thalbum written, so we took songs from that and crafted this EP. Stu and I did the majority of the writing but Steve really brought the songs to life with his drumming. Ross then added his insane tasty flavor with his leads then Mike Lepond did his magic on bass.

Was there any concept that was put behind this EP?

Yes, we crafted this with the whole Mad Max vibe in mind. It was Stu’s idea to call it Fuel Injected Suicide Machine which is a line from the first Mad Max movie. We did an intro to set the tone, then added Blood for Gasoline which is another speed burner. It is not a concept album but the theme is there and of course the artwork matches it as well.

5 awesome tracks of heavy metal, headbanging super album, how do you feel about the outcome of the EP?

The reviews are great. It has 2 mid-tempo songs and 2 speed burners, so it is well rounded and it has a lot of re-listen factor built into it. People that buy it will know but the rest of the world will not because we only released one song to Spotify. Any true metal head will love this. Support heavy metal and buy one.

How are the touring plans for 2022?

There are none. I did a tour in November with The Three Tremors and now everyone is busy so Death Dealer will probably do something big to support the 4th album when that comes out. That 4th upcoming album is probably our best yet for real. We will have to get some plans together for that.

What would be some of the upcoming plans for the year?

Probably finish the 5th album. We have so much material for it, it is crazy as that one will also be a ripping one too but to top this 4th album will be a chore.

Formed in 2012 with four releases, how do you feel about the journey with Death Dealer so far?

Man, we just have not been able to play live enough. We have a great band with lots of great songs and a mean discography but touring has been tough. We started with an arena tour and because of all of our schedules, we have not been able to ride with the Death Dealer for a while now. Like I said, with the 4th album we probably will do something. The band is really fun to play in and now we have a ton of great songs to pick from. The fans have really supported us a lot and they know how great the product is. We shall see how it comes together live in the future.

Being a super awesome band with legendary members, how do you feel about working together in the group?

We had some instant chemistry when we played. Now Mike Lepond is in the band and we have yet to play live with him. That will be a new dynamic and it will be interesting for sure. I love playing with Stu and Ross and Steve is a blast to play with and tour on the road. It is always a thrill and wild shit always going down.

Would you like to share some of the great moments that you had over the years?

Well playing in Moscow and St Petersburg, Russia was a highlight for sure. Also 2 shows in Istanbul were crazy. Mexico was really cool and the people went wild at that one.

Finally what would be the message for the fans around the world?

Remember you have to buy the physical product to hear the entire albums and most metal heads want to own and collect the stuff anyways.  We put our metal hearts and souls into the records so go to www.deathdealermetal.com and support the steel!
