London, Ontario’s cutest band MVLL CRIMES are perplexing internet trolls and keyboard warriors everywhere with new single “Arguing With Strangers”. Recorded by Kyle Ashbourne (Sugar Shack) and mastered by Scott Middleton (ex-Cancer Bats), the hardcore track is laced with grungy undertones. It is the second single off of the band’s upcoming album “YOU EMBVRRVSS ME” out later this year via Cursed Blessings Records. Listen to the single HERE!
Vocalist Jillian Clair comments on the single: “Arguing with strangers on the internet is about over-investing in online discussions. Apart from attempting (and likely failing) to convince strangers how smart you are, arguing with strangers on the internet is an exercise in futility.”
This summer and fall the band will be bringing their new and unreleased music on the road across Ontario, including a hometown show in London this September. In June, Mvll Crimes released a special Bandcamp single titled, “Bootlicker’s Delight Reprisal” in support of Bandcamp’s initiative to raise money for NAACP’s legal fund supporting racial justice, equality and change.
