ALT. SIGN TO SHARPTONE RECORDS AND SHARE VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE “WRAITH” — WATCH

Emerging from a turbulent few years armed with rejuvenated focus and ferocity, Adelaide rockers alt. are closing out 2022 on a huge note by announcing their signing to Resist Records for Australia and to SharpTone Records for the rest of the world. Today, thy are releasing the video for the brand new single “WRAITH.”

First emerging onto the scene back in 2019, alt.’s increasingly signature brand of sharp light and shade, combining the sonic palettes of Bring Me The Horizon, Billie Eilish, Post Malone, and Don Broco, is on fierce and fiery display on their latest release, with “WRAITH” also accompanied by a savagely gripping music video.

Following the release of their 2020 EP dysfunctional, with critics praising the band’s versatility, instrumentation, energy, and sparkling production, 2022 finds alt. more in command than ever before of their bold and infectious sonic stylings; and “WRAITH” offers the perfect christening to accompany the band’s brand new homes with Resist Records and SharpTone Records.

Since turning heads immediately via their debut single “insubordinate” back in 2019, alt. have gone on to cement their status as rising heavyweights, with 2022 alone finding the band accompanying Northlane in June for the group’s national Australian tour alongside Plini and Sleep Token, and joining Aussie icons Karnivool, Cog, and sleepmakeswaves for an unforgettable evening at Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide back in August.

Alongside their ever-growing fanbase, over 2 million Spotify streams, new music, and joining up with Resist Records and SharpTone Records, things are only just heating up for this exciting new alt. chapter. Watch this space for even more alt. goodness in the not-too-distant future.
