What was the beginning pint for your music career? How did it all start?
Adam: I think it was the Facebook post Raphael uploaded in a music group in 2018, searching for musicians to start a band and luckily, I responded quickly enough, before he was taken :D.
Was there any bumps on the road? What kind of challenges did you have to deal with?
Adam: Plenty of bumps were there: from the pandemic just kicking in right after our East Europe tour in 2020, putting everything on hold, up to losing band members and trying to making our way through a difficult time for nearly everyone. But here we are, just taking off with new songs and the will to reach our goals!
What was the most fulfilling and satisfying moment so far?
Adam: For me personally it was the moment, we got know, that we are gonna join Ingested on their East Europe tour and as well releasing our first song of our single trilogy “New Eyes” – ‘Holding On’. It has been a journey for one year, bringing that trilogy to life and now having released even the second song ‘Surviving Death’ a few days ago, is just mind-blowing!
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
Adam: As a good mixture of everything, we like to hear and do: pretty solid metalcore with progressive impulses and wide-ranging vocals.
What is your creative process like?
Adam: In the early days of the band, Raphael and I wrote most songs together, but now, because Raphael has a crazy creative output, he comes up to us with full song structures. By testing the songs, when playing live, we adjust things together and shape the song, until it’s finished.
If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
Adam: I would try to find a way, bands get (more) paid for their work.
If you were asked to give a piece of advice to upcoming bands, what would that be?
Adam: Be patient and stick to yourselves.
What has been the best performance of your career so far?
Adam: I think it was the one without having a drummer, because we had change our live set up last minute, shortly were going through hell because of technical issues in rehearsals, but we just kicked a** during the show. It felt so great, as this was the show, we first played ‘Holding On’ live and – oh, boy – the crowd just destroyed the venue.
If you didn’t become a musician, what would you be doing now?
Adam: In everyday life I am working as a concept designer, Raphael is an IT guy and Lasse is working as a videograph. Would be cool, to be a full time musician, but that still is a longer way to go.
What is new with the band at the moment? What are you currently working on and would like to share with the world?
Adam: November 25th we have released the second song of our single trilogy “New Eyes”, called ‘Surviving Death’. So please give it a listen and keep your eyes peeled for the third song coming in January 2023!
