A4O4A, which stands for ‘All For * One * For All’, is a music project consisting of Caleb Bingham (ex-Five Finger Death Punch) as well as musicians from the band ELA and various guests. Inspired by the devastating consequences of the floods in the Ahr valley, guitarist and guitar maker Uwe Ulm decided to write a song commemorating the catastrophe. This song is dedicated to all those people who are constantly affected by climate change. And he succeeded in inspiring a large number of other well-known musicians for this project.
The result is a single that contains two versions of the song. A great Metal banger with headbang alarm, which is also and especially characterised by the high-calibre vocal performance. But there is also enough room for filigree guitar solos. The radio edition is only half as long. Apart from fewer solos, the sound is otherwise the same. With less than four minutes it should not be missing on any playlist of Rock radio stations. It’s not explicitly stated in the press release, but I assume, that a part of the earnings will be donated. And even if not, I can only warmly recommend the purchase of the single to every metal fan.
