French Heavy-Metal/Rock/Core five-piece Last Addiction unveiled new digital single + music video “?????? ???????”
Out now on all streaming platforms
18 months after sharing the music video illustrating the song “The Temple” (from their debut full-length album ‘Inner Abyss’ released in 2021), French Heavy-Metal/Rock-Core five-piece Last Addictionjust officially unveiled a brand new digital single called “Trauma Trigger”.
This single – evocating the issues related to post-traumatic disorder – is available right now with its official music video on YouTube but also the main streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Amazon etc.). thanks to the courtesy of Victory Vision Agency (PERSEIDE, Synapse,…)
Born in 2015 at the border of the “cold lands”, Last Addiction is active since the twilight of 2016. If the story began with 4 people, Gael Augier (guitarist and founder), Dylan Fournet (lead singer), Will Guinet (bass guitar) and Thomas Chaverondier (drums), it continues with 5, when Vincent Delphin (lead guitar) joined in September 2020.
Lyrics are inspired by theories such as the “collapse”, and all miseries touching mankind, its dark side, sometimes extreme, and loneliness. Musical influences are numerous and various, sometimes amazing, so the band decided not to be locked up into a specific style.
However, on a basis of “modern heavy metal”, they drop slight touches of metalcore, rock, post rock, and even some extreme metal, but always on a melodic background. 2 voices : An uncommon high and clean singing, supported by raging screams, provide many contrasts and amaze. L.A released a first EP in November 2019, then their first LP 8 tracks ‘Inner Abyss’ in April 2021.
Since 2017, the band had numerous gigs in France, opened for different bands (ex Audrey Horn) and played on the legendary Wacken Open Air in august 2022 after winning the French WOA battle !
2023 will be a new area, with the release of a new album at the end of the year, and few gigs including the PLANE R FEST Festival in Lyon, together with bands such as Paradise lost, Alcest and Blind Guardians.
